Worthing Silver Band

The band prides itself on its friendly welcoming atmosphere and has a range of standards within its members as well a mixed age range, at present the youngest at 13 ranging to  a couple of members who are 80 years old. Worthing Silver band was formed in 1975 from the Worthing Youth Band, and over the years a large number of players have come through the band’s ranks. Many still play with bands around the county and a few have even made playing music a career. At present we number around 20 but are always looking for new members. Rehearsal nights are Wednesday and our musical director is Laura King.
